1st Kazım Karabekir Pasha IDPA Match Successfully Completed
The 1st Kazım Karabekir Pasha IDPA Match, consisting of 4 stages, was successfully held on July 28, 2021, hosted by Poligon Club. This meaningful event, blending the discipline of shooting sports with a deep historical tribute, drew great interest from athletes and spectators alike.
The match was directed by M. Faruk Gazioğlu, the grandson of Kazım Karabekir Pasha. The officiating team included experienced Safety Officers and staff such as Oğulcan Engin, Baran Özçaylan, Mete Özyurt, Alperen Kıvılcım, Bayram ÖZIŞIK, Onur Okut, Emre Tunç, Yavuz Gencay, and Serdar Tatlıdil.
At the conclusion of the competition, top-performing athletes were awarded in their respective categories. As a meaningful gesture, all participants received a signed copy of the book “Bir İnsan Bir Asker” (“ Man and Soldier”), personally autographed by Ms. Timsal Karabekir, the daughter of Kazım Karabekir Pasha.
