Membership Application Notice
Incomplete or incorrectly filled membership application forms will not be considered.
Please make sure to include the names and contact information of your references either via email or at the end of the address section of the application form.
Membership Eligibility and Application Process
Article 3 – Any individual who adopts the objectives and principles of our sports club, meets the eligibility criteria below, agrees to actively contribute, and fulfills the legal requirements, may apply for membership with the recommendation and guarantee of two existing members. Final approval is subject to the majority vote of the Board of Directors.
Foreign nationals must have legal residency rights in Türkiye to apply.
This requirement does not apply to honorary memberships.
Each member may be nominated for the Board of Directors. However, the club president and at least one vice president must hold an internationally recognized Safety Officer (SO) certification.
Annual Membership Fee:
As per the 2025 Board of Directors’ decision, the annual membership fee has been set at 15,000 TL.
Membership Selection Criteria
Core Principles:
Competence, merit, and discipline are the foundational principles of membership.
Requirements:
- Must have completed at least a secondary education (high school),
- Must hold a valid Basic First Aid Training certificate or commit to obtaining one (certificate must be current and not expired),
- Must provide both current and archived criminal record reports, excluding negligent offenses,
- Must be recommended and guaranteed by at least two existing club members.
Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that their candidates meet all the below qualifications. The final decision lies with the Board of Directors through a majority vote.
Definitions
Competence:
Refers to knowledge of general firearm safety rules, beyond the specific rules of UDPAS.
Merit:
Includes the individual’s education, knowledge/skills, experience, performance, communication ability, contribution, and alignment with the club’s culture and values.
Training:
Not just preparatory knowledge, but a full understanding of all UDPAS rules and regulations.
Experience:
The individual should be able to integrate their prior shooting experience into the UDPAS discipline and standards.
All candidates are expected to carefully review these criteria before applying. Applications lacking required information or not meeting the qualifications will not be processed.
