In 2025, we are committed to supporting the development of shooting sports in Turkey through the following five key initiatives:
1. Preparing Young Athletes for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics
To support our talented young athletes in the airgun disciplines, we will provide all necessary financial and institutional resources to prepare them for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. Comprehensive training programs, infrastructure development, and long-term athlete support will be prioritized.
2. Establishing a Legal Framework for Dynamic Shooting Disciplines
Efforts are underway to develop a legal foundation for dynamic shooting disciplines in coordination with relevant federations and governmental bodies. Presentations and proposals are being prepared to facilitate formal discussions with officials at various levels of government to ensure the sport is recognized and supported within a legal context.
3. Continued Basic Firearms Training and Public Awareness
We will continue to offer basic firearms education programs to ensure safe and responsible handling, especially among newcomers. In parallel, public awareness campaigns will focus on firearm safety, responsible usage, and the values of sport shooting.
4. Promoting the Culture of Dynamic Shooting Competitions
To expand the reach and recognition of dynamic shooting disciplines, national-level competitions will be organized regularly. These events aim to build a stronger competitive culture and increase interest in the sport across a broader audience.
5. Allocating Training Facilities for International Competitors
In support of Turkish athletes who represent our country in international competitions, efforts are being made to allocate dedicated training areas that meet professional standards. This will help ensure consistent preparation and improved performance at the global level.
